Maria Cristina Azcona was born and also lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

She is a bilingual poetess and novelist, peace researcher and Educational Psychologist, editor and translator, whose articles, reviews, poems and short stories  are being published in many newspapers, magazines and anthologies around Argentina, UK, India and US.

She has authored a printed book of peace poetry “Window to Heaven”, published by Cyberwit, India, becoming the unique bilingual writer resident in Argentina, internationally published and recognized by the most important cultural organizations, including UNESCO.

Awards

 

Her poem Family Abuse has been runner-up in  Biff´s Board´s contest of poetry 2002 .

In Argentina,  she won First Prize in Poetry at Cadan´s Poetry Competition and also several Honorary mentions in many other literary contests.

Director in Argentina for IFLAC Pave Peace

Director-founder of Bilingual MCA International Poets & Writers for Peace.

She is honorary member of HD&HS, U. Columbia, New York
